The mission of the Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree is to develop leaders who possess the values, knowledge, and skills to manage optimal delivery of healthcare.

Note: Starting July 1, 2024, we will be overseeing the MHA degree program. Presently, we are transferring the MHA program to the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health from the Waters College of Health Professions. Our inaugural cohort is set to begin in Fall 2024. The Master of Health Administration (MHA) prepares students to work in health service sectors, systems and organizations as administrators or managers who manage and lead the delivery of healthcare to patients where and when it is needed.

Accreditation

Accredited by CAHME, the objective of the Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree is to provide the student with mastery of the knowledge and skills for the effective administration of health service organizations across the continuum of care. Specifically, the student will understand the basic organizational, financial, legal and managerial components of health services as they relate to a dynamic and evolving health care delivery system.
