The Georgia Southern University Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation established in 1963 to raise and manage private dollars to meet the needs of Georgia Southern University which are not funded through state allocations. The Georgia Southern University Foundation, Inc. is qualified by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) corporation.

Faculty, staff, and student professional development support (including but not limited to travel, professional memberships, etc). Special College activities or expenditures that cannot be paid for by state/grant funds such as recognition events, food and beverages, marketing and public relations materials and projects, etc.
0475	Center for Rural Health and Research	Allows individuals and groups to make contributions to the Center for Rural Health and Research	Special Center activities or expenditures not charged to grant or state funds such as recognition events; sponsorship of conferences or community activities; other Center-related expenditures as needed.
0743	Karl E. Peace Center for Biostatistics Account	Provides support for activities involving the Center for Biostatistics. Also used to further the educational experiences of the graduate students in biostatistics.	Professional travel, professional development activities, conference registration, memberships in professional organizations, equipment and supplies, donor cultivation, reception activities, guest lectures/speakers, etc.

3410	Karl E. Peace Endowed Chair in Biostatistics	Furthers the work of the Eminent Scholar.	Annual salary supplement to existing faculty position. Annual allocation provided for the Eminent Scholar to use for travel expenses and to engage in research. Annual allocation for undergraduate or graduate scholarships/assistantships to study with the Eminent scholar.
3530	Karl E. Peace Biopharmaceutical Applied Statistics Symposium Scholarship (BASS) – Endowed Scholarship	Endowment for a scholarship/graduate assistantship benefiting students pursuing graduate studies in Biostatistics at Georgia Southern University. Net from the annual BASS Conference to be added each year.	Scholarships or Graduate Assistantships in Biostatistics Program Concentration.
