SoTL Fellows

Alfonso_MoyaGeorgia Southern University faculty members Moya Alfonso, John Dobson and Nancy Arrington have been named Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Fellows by the Centers for Teaching and Technology (CT2). In addition, CT2 has named Adrienne Cohen as the recipient of the 2014-’15 SoTL Award.

The SoTL Fellows program is designed to foster faculty leadership by promoting evidence-based teaching. Each fellow is awarded $3,000 to support their research projects.

A faculty member since 2010, Moya Alfonso, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of community health behavior and education. Her research is focused on improving assessment in Georgia Southern’s community health courses. She is a native of Tampa, Florida.
