Dr.P.H. Candidate Chosen for CDC Volunteer Program
Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health Dr.P.H. candidate of Community Health Behavior and Education, Andrew Hansen, was one of 20 selected from 280 applicants to join the Socioeconomic Status Related Disparities (SESRCD) Behavior and Social Science Volunteer (BSSV) program funded by CDC’s Division on HIV and AIDS Prevention. SESRCD is a national strategy to strengthen the capacity of community-based cancer-serving organizations and stakeholders to deliver cancer prevention, early-detection and survivorship activities for socioeconomically disadvantaged populations.
