Alzheimer's Memory walk

Team JPHCOPH- PHSA walked at the annual Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk on October 24th, 2009 from 10am to 12pm at Bulloch Academy to show our support for the estimated 5.3 million Americans living with Alzheimer's disease.

Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised $230 million for Alzheimer care, support and research. By teaming up with others, we are hoping to do our part to fight this deadly disease. The funds raised through Memory Walk go toward research to treat and prevent Alzheimer's, and programs to improve the lives of millions of Americans already affected.

The event was a tremendous success for all those involved. The walk has raised over $40,000 to date! Although the walk is over, we are still on the MOVE to fight this disease! Donate today to help those who are currently affected by Alzheimer's, and to provide funding for research that will aid future generations.

The Public Health Student Association is pleased to be involved in this fight. Your support makes a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease!
