Biography:

Dr. Lili Yu earned the Ph.D. in Biostatistics and the M.S. in Statistics from the Ohio State University. In addition, she holds the M.S. in Neuroscience from Capital University of Medicine, China and the B.S. in Clinical Medicine from the Tianjin Medical University, China.

She obtained several years of experience working as a Teaching Assistant and a Research Assistant. Dr. Yu also worked on a variety of projects for the Statistical Consulting Service Center at Ohio State University. She has a background in clinical medicine and molecular biology techniques. Dr. Yu’s research interests include survival analysis, clinical trials, machine learning and statistical modeling.

Currently, Dr. Yu is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics within the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health at Georgia Southern University. In addition, she also serves as the faculty advisor for the Office of the International Chinese Statistical Association. In her spare time Lili enjoys travel, listening to music, and playing with her beautiful four year old son.
